Of the psychologist CLINICIEN
Psychologue clinician, who is tu ? There are in some words the question that is asked by this text.
Il seem necessary to me, as psychologist clinician, and in one moment of " chaos " for our profession to ask us this question.
Depuis some times, the psychologists fight against some attempts on behalf of the legislator to make new texts concerning our professional body.
He/it is important, indeed, to fight against some texts that are damaging to our professional exercise, but also to the users them even. He/it is right not to throw the water of the bath with the baby however. Some texts, sometimes clumsy can become a progress for our profession in France. I am going to tempt to clarify a little that to what I make allusion here therefore, to the risk to go to against current of a thought that would like to be the reflection of all, what is far from being the case. I intend therefore to make me the echo of these people.
Il cannot have a real and serious progress there that if we accept our differences. We wanted to regroup the psychologists and it is a good thing, but can be is him as necessary to differentiate us the some of the other and to take our takeoff and our autonomy.
Psychologist's title is a protected title, and it agrees that the instructions that have been voted are preserved and that one didn't succeed at a discount to a title, taking advantage of the opening of the borders. I join the opinion of the processes that speaks in the name of the psychologists therefore fully (SNP for example).
I would not deepen what seems to make consensus therefore because it only has little interest.
He/it seems illusory to me to want to remain in a sort of undifferentiated group, because makes to some, of by the diversity of our formations, we sometimes exercise some activities very different.
I am therefore favorable to a particular statute concerning the psychologists clinicians. It can also apply to the neuropsychologists, and can be to other psychologists.
Certain reproach to the texts sometimes to want to make of the psychologist a professional of health. If the psychologist clinician a professional of health is not, that il is? Here are some propositions that seem interesting to me therefore.
- To increase the level of study. Currently ferry +5 minimum, it would be discriminating to ask for a doctorate in clinical and pathological psychology (bac+8), in order to harmonize upwards with the other member countries of the European union and even the united States and Canada. We could imagine to be psychologist " stagiaire " to level ferry +5 and to pursue a doctoral formation then during 3 years, punished by the development of a thesis based on research done during these 3 years of " pré professionnalisation ", and giving right then to the title of psychologist clinician. We could also benefit of these 3 years to work on the psychotherapies (theory and convenient).
- To recognize the psychologist clinician like a health professional and to get along then on a particular statute (as for example with regard to the wise women), conferring him the possibility then to benefit from the repayment of his/her/its acts by social security.
It would even permit to decrease the costs of health sometimes facing an excessive consumption of psychotropics prescribed to the detriment of the speech of the topic.
It would not be about well on not of a work on medical prescription whatever she/it is, the psychologist clinician, of by his/her/its formation being able to know if the patient that he/it takes in charge relief or no of his/her/its expertises, and having to keep his/her/its total autonomy.
It would offer to each the possibility to be able to meet a psychologist whereas sometimes the financial cost is a brake, to see an obstacle.
Some say that it is important that the patient participates financially in his/her/its work, that what I would answer that a psychologist is not an analyst, and than on the other hand if it can get along at the time of a psychoanalytic inspiration psychotherapy, it doesn't have any sense in a psychotherapy of support.
One will object that some psychologists can be consulted gracefully within the hospitable centers, that what I would answer that seen the number constantly increasing of demands, numerous are those that can have access there.
Can the liberal professional lower his/her/its tariffs also, but whereas feels the patient, he is not pain to the aise ? Besides how many patients can take ourselves in these conditions because the expenses they remain the same.
- Salary revalorization. How is it possible to accept as we make it, and without reacting the remuneration proposed by the administration publique ?
Let's take the example of the Hospitable Public Function, the psychologist discerns an almost identical salary to the one of a nurse (that is recognized ferry +2) whereas we are all to the minimum ferry +5 ! ! ! Besides it is necessary to ask for the disappearance of the out class that could be distributed thus between all, with the " à mind equal work, salary égal ".
Bien evidently all it is only a draft of reflection, that doesn't have for finality to bring a solution, but to provoke a little the reflection, and to make hear another voice that the one that he/it seemed me to hear jusqu 'à this day. Courage because the hour of rest is not again arrivée .
